Taking care of your dog's wellbeing on the daily

The wellbeing of your dog also go through their daily life

Talking about health or wellbeing

We often wait until something is wrong to do something

Become proactive in your dog's wellbeing

Build your dog's health everyday

With their food
With their environment
With their emotions
And with your relationship with them

Your dog's health does not depend on one think, or one isolated action. Not just dog training to lesser their stress load, not just the right food for a healthy digestive systme, or just natural supplements to detox or have an effect on one specific symptom

A global, holistic vision, with multiple angles, and several aspect for the health of your pup, for long term benefits

A global approach, beyond just symptoms

Your dog isn't just a problem to solve. And their wellbeing don't rest on the solution of an isolated issue.

Their wellbeing rests on a balance of :

Food

Environment

Emotions

Lifestyle

By seeing the global picture, we can act at the root cause of the issue and wrok in a more coherent way towards your dog's wellbeing

The food : a basic

What your dog eats has a direct impact on their global wellbeing

A nice, adapted food, can contribute to :

  • A more stable energy during the day, without excitement spikes
  • Better digestive comfort
  • Favor a better gloabl health

A better food for your dog is also a food adapted to them as individuals and to their environment

But knowing where to start can be a difficult thing...

Behaviour and emotions

A stressed, worried dog, that has difficulties going through a human world, can struggle and it will impact their wellbeing

Emotions play and important role in the global balance of your pup

Some situations in the daily life can

  • Create stress
  • Create discomfort
  • Reinforce problematic behaviours

Dog training can also help maintain or restore global balance and wellbeing for your pup

Everyday habits

Your dog's health also comes from the simple things

Their lifestyle has a real impact :

  • Walkies, in numbers and quality
  • Coherent framework and habits
  • Their quiet time, rest time, sleep quality
  • Their environment
  • Their food

Sometimes, a few simple adjustments can make a big difference !
You don't have to change everything at once !

A small change in your daily habits can make a difference (and lead to another change !)

Observing, to act rather than react

You are the person that knows your dog best

And when something is wrong, you usually know it !

Learning how to observe your dog allows you to :

  • Better understand their needs
  • Find the little changes faster
  • Adapt your routine, training and lifestyle
  • Chose the approach that fits your pup

It's a more global, more conscious, way to consider your dog's wellbeing

Questions you might ask yourself about your pup's wellbeing

Why even talk about canine wellbeing ?

I usually talk about wellbeing in a larger sense, because your dog's health, or their behaviour, does not depend on managing an isolated issue

Your dog's wellbeing include their physical health, their emotional balance, how their need are filled (going outside, eating, sleeping yes, but also chewing, social needs, feeling confident...), their environment, your lifestyle...

We tend tend to consider all these little things as individual blocs, but when they are balances, attuned and taken together, a good deal of the issues your dog can face may disappear
Not by some kind of magic. With a global work on your pup's wellbeing, and seeing the bigger picture

We all want a dog that lives as long as possible, as healthy as possible !

There is no miracle cure for a healthy dog. But, we can work day after day, step by step, to improve your dog's health, with long term results

With small, simple actions everyday, we can limit stress, improve your dog's food, decrease exposition to chemicals... In other words, we can chose a healthier lifestyle for your pup, and improve their health daily

No. Treatments given by a vet have to be continued as described and coaching in nutrition or training are in no way a substitute to a vet follow up

Coachings can help control your dog's symptoms, and bring relief, but it does not replace a treatment given for a diagnosed disease, prescribed by a vet

No, changes are gonna be easier for you and for your dog (and more long term) if you establish them one by one
